Description
VINTAGE LE NCC CAMBRIDGE GLASS CONVENTION 2000 AMETHYST CARNIVAL MT. VERNON TUMBLER MOSSER GLASSWhen this listing was originally started there were two (2) of these tumblers available.
You can buy one (1) or
as many as are still showing as available through this listing.
Just to be clear, the $ 9.99 price is for each tumbler. Please keep in mind that since only one of these was photographed for this listing there may be some very minor or slight differences in the appearance of the other one.
This sale is for a National Cambridge Glass Collectors Convention favor.
These favors were made, in very limited numbers, for the NCC club by the Mosser Glass Company in Cambridge, Ohio using the original Cambridge Glass molds.
This is a “Mt. Vernon” pattern 5 Oz. tumbler and it is etched, or sandblasted, with “NCC 2000” on two lines.
It is made in a very deep amethyst colored glass and has an iridized “carnival glass” finish to the glass.
It is a quality made piece of hand-made pressed glass.
This same tumbler (the original one) is pictured on page 25 (page 40 at the top of the page) of the
1949-1953 Cambridge Catalog Reprint Book
The Cambridge Glass Co
. by The National Cambridge Collectors, Inc.
The actual Cambridge Glass designation for this piece was Mt. V. 56 – 5 Oz tumbler.

Age and Condition
It dates to the year 2000.
Both are in excellent mint original condition.
Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of this item.
There are no chips, flea bites, repairs, cracks or hairlines to the glass and no visible signs of us.
We received these as attendees of the National Cambridge Glass Collectors Convention in the year 2000 and have never used them.
Please keep in mind these photos may be blown up at least 8-10 times normal, so anything you see will look 8-10 times larger in the photos than it really is.
Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece.
It will be either just to the right of center towards the bottom or slightly above center on the right side of the photo.
Approximate Dimensions
It is about 2.5” (6.4 cm) in diameter at the top rim and stands about 3.875” (9.8 cm) tall.
