I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS TOOL BUT THE NEEDLE MOVES LIKE A COMPASS AND POINTS TOWARDS ANYTHING METAL OR NORTH. NO CLUE WHAT IT IS USED FOR BUT IS INTERESTING PIECE AND GREAT CONVERSATION STARTER. IT MEASURES 14" COLASPED AND 33" EXTENDED. IF ANYBODY KNOWS SOMETHJING ABOUT THIS TOOL I WOULD APPRECIATE HELP.
